Provost & Pritchard announces career milestone for engineer Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group is proud to announce that an engineering professional has reached a career milestone by passing the Professional Engineers Exam for Civil Engineering, which consists of three rigorous portions: a national civil engineering exam, and California-specific surveying and seismic exams. Provost & Pritchard adds 'aerial photography' to service capabilities Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group has added a new professional service to their list of capabilities: aerial photography using an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS), also known as a drone. As required by federal regulations, Jason Thomas, a geographic information system (GIS) specialist at Provost & Pritchard, passed the required operator’s test, allowing the firm the ability to provide the service for client projects throughout the state of California. Alex Jones, EIT, an assistant engineer at Provost & Pritchard, was named the “2016 Outstanding Civil Engineer in Community Service” by the Fresno Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Senior Planner, Dawn Marple, was recognized by the Tulare-Kings Linked Learning program for her work preparing young people at Lemoore High School for careers in the field of engineering and planning. Provost & Pritchard’s Overton becomes certified hydrogeologist Shay Overton, a licensed geologist at Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group, recently passed the California Certified Hydrogeologist examination. Hydrogeology is the science that focuses on the behavior, occurrence and quaility of groundwater. The certification was established by the state of California to protect the health, safety and welfare of the people of California. Read More
