Groundwater Management Plan, Fresno Area Regional Groundwater Management Group, Fresno County, California
Provost & Pritchard prepared a Groundwater Management Plan that was a collaborative effort by ten agencies, including two irrigation/water districts, one private water company, and seven municipal water agencies. Provost & Pritchard assisted with the original formation of this group and preparation of a Memorandum of Understanding. The sections of the groundwater management plan were written in compliance with SB1938 and Department of Water Resources Bulletin 118 Appendix C recommendations. Provost & Pritchard also aided with public noticing and participation requirements, facilitated the collaborative input sessions, and helped identify the plans, goals and objectives. Provost & Pritchard also assisted with the preparation of annual groundwater reports for the Fresno Area Regional Groundwater Management Group.
